Privacy Policy

Padsniper helps people discover rental listings, receive matching alerts, and, when requested, contact landlords or listing agents. This policy explains the information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.
- Search information: Rental preferences, saved searches, neighborhoods, price ranges, and alert settings.
- Communication information: Messages, contact preferences, and records of outreach you ask us to send.
- Usage information: Device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Payment information: Our payment processor may collect payment details for paid services. We do not store complete card numbers.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide accounts, rental searches, alerts, and requested outreach.
- Match listings to your preferences and improve matching quality.
- Process payments and administer paid features.
- Protect Padsniper, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Google account data
Google data is used only to authenticate you, create your account, and display your basic profile. We do not use Google account data for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can revoke Padsniper's access from your Google Account permissions.
How we share information
We may share information with:
- Service providers that host our application, database, authentication, email, analytics, payments, and monitoring.
- Landlords, property managers, and listing agents when you ask us to contact them on your behalf.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A successor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of the business.
We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may update your preferences, stop alerts, revoke Google access, or request access to or deletion of your account information. California residents may have additional rights to know, correct, or delete personal information and to receive equal service when exercising those rights.
Children
Padsniper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
